I fear that I may not have that opportunity, owing to the length of my sale, and the fatigue of it during this very warm weather — which I beg you will mention as my apology to Dr. Raffles for not paying him that attention which his talents and reputation demand and command from every body, but the confused mind of a book auctioneer in the dog-days, after four hours hot work.
