DIVs, Pages, and Milestones...

The scheme for divisions within the body of the volume is as follows.  The "id" attributes should be self-explanatory; the "n" attributes are somewhat unusual with this work.  Since the volume is organized more like an almanac than a chapter book, the "n" attributes record the standard numerical representation for a date.

The Every-Day Book does not have numbered pages; instead, it is printed with two columns on each page and the columns are numbered on both sides of the header on each page.  Consequently, I have opted to use the <pb/> element without any attributes but to mark each individuallly numbered column using the <milestone> element and the appropriate "n" amd "unit" attributes.
