William Godwin to William Hone

[1780-1818] - [1818-1824] - [1825-1832] - [1832-1842] - Hone Correspondence

1. William Godwin to William Hone, 10 February, 1819. 1-TEI-

1.1.

Dear Sir,

1.1.1.

Mr. Hazlitt, I believe, wanted my [issues ?] of Morning Chronicle merely for one hour's use: &, as Mrs. Godwin has an offer of £150 for them, I am very anxious to get them back again: nothing is so liable to be torn or otherwise mutilated as a pile of newspapers.

Very truly yours
W Godwin
Skinner Street.
Feb. 10, 1819.
