Black, Parbury & Allen were publishers of the Asiatic Journal and other publications focusing on British interests in India. For reasons perfectly obvious, this letter is written on the verso of a letter from John Borthwick Gilchrist asking Hone to collect 50 copies of his pamphlet for resale in his shop. [return]
